Photo journal from our trip to Chengdu, China.
Weather forecast for Chengdu:
"Unhealthy and Sensitive"
We would have 20 mins in between classes and the students would save their spots with their water bottles.
Day 1 at Kinjaz Dojo China x Sinostage
The energy here is just so refreshing. Pleasantly surprised with the entire experience and it's only day 1! Amazing people, food, dancers! Can't wait for tomorrow.
I can never get tired of this view.
DAY 2: KEVIN TEACHING
We taught 3 classes each day. To save our energy and assure that we were each teaching equally each day, we'd split up the work each day. 2 solo classes and 1 collaboration class. This is marriage and compromise at its finest :)
Kinjaz Dojo China
is located in the Inn99 Mall in the financial district of Chengdu. This mall had a super cute Line Friends store and cafe. Of course ya girl had to snap a few photos... and fall for the cute coffee.
Of course ya girl had to check it out and get a mug. We collect the "We are here Mugs". I tried their Matcha Latte. It was very niiiiiiice.
After class dinner at Hai Di Lao
With Fifi, Ocean, Abby, Ako, Ako's mommy, Bebe, and DeShawn!
S P A C E S H I P
ok ok , it's really a bathroom
To end the day, we went to Mr. X The Real Escape Game.
We chose Mission 5: Dr. Huang's time machine. That was probably the most difficult escape room we've ever done! (Not only because some of it was in Chinese but their puzzles and logic were way different from the escape rooms Kevin and I have done in the states. We had so much fun with our new friends. :)
Last day = DAY OFF
We started our day off with massages in the morning. This was probably the worst thing we could do for ourselves since it made us super duper tired for the rest of the day.. oh well, WORTH IT!
We had KBBQ for lunch after massages. Talk about Massge + Food coma. We were OUT for a few hours after this.
Sinostage is so awesome! They have an in house photographer and videographers who are absolutely brilliant at their craft. Most of our newest photos come from this shoot.
Waiting for my turn
My handsome hubs
We ended the day with hot pot
we went to a fancy hot pot spot in the mall where they gave you your own individual hot pots. So cute! I had the tomato soup base (because I don't like too much spice) and Kevin had the house soup base (because he LOVES a good kick).
Thank you Kinjaz Dojo x Sinostage!
We love and appreciate you guys!
